Boreal Bluet

The Boreal Bluet is one of the first Bluets to fly in the spring. This species is very similar to the Northern and Vernal Bluets. The Vernal Bluet is a very rare northern species in Wisconsin, while the Northern could also be expected throughout the state. I have seen them flying from May 25 until the second week in July.
