Location: Riveredge Nature Center, Newburgh
When we started the Riveredge Nature Center Butterfly Count today the weather was cool, windy, and rain threatened. After a slow start the sun finally came out and we had some good butterflies although the number of species and the number of individuals were lower than in years past. Especially noteworthy, no Metalmarks or Hairstreaks this year. This summary is for not for the whole group.
