Butterfly sighting

Aug 2 2014

Sylvia Edlebeck

Location: Sandhill Wildlife Area
Wood County

The Karner blues were fluttering around in groups of 3 or 4 along the gravel road. The friendliest butterfly of the day was a worn viceroy who perched first on my shirt, then on my friend's finger, then on my friend's hat.
