Unfortunately, the discovery of the very rare Sleepy Orange was accompanied by the discovery that the DNR was spraying Black Locust trees nearby, particularly a small number that fall within the Sleepy Orange breeding habitat.
The Cabbage White female exhibits rejection of male courtship by raising her abdomen.
