Location: Dunnville SWA/Larrabee Road
After seeing Pam C.s posts about this place I was inspired to take some friends from Eau Claire there on their 1st butterfly fieldtrip. Thanks Pam!
The 1 year old with us got some up close and personal time with some Giants that continually danced around us. She never touched them, but really got excited. The girls weren't with me the whole 5 hours. The Photo of a QM will have you guessing. Go by the 4 spots in a row on the upper wing. The mark on the hidden hindwing is actually a question mark. 1st one I have found with one of each. 3 types of Swallowtails in the same puddle. 26 species and I never left the road! This is really a special place!
