Location: rural roads off Hwy 78 near Mazomanie
Lots of giant swallowtails, all very active, fun to watch. The Eastern comma sat right by my foot, but only briefly, so no time for a photo. There was a common buckeye that had been killed on the road, how sad, his wings seemed to be in perfect condition, not an old worn butterfly.
