I just got back from Florida today. Wisconsin butterflies are much easier to find than those in Florida. I was in Palm Beach County, and much of it is developed and landscaped with few butterflies. Most of those that I found were in weedy or undeveloped areas. I managed to get photos of Dainty Sulphur, Mallow Scrub-Hairstreak, Cassius Blue, Ceraunus Blue, Phaon Crescent, White Peacock, Queen, and Common Checkered-Skipper. I’ve included a photo of a moth I saw in Florida. It looks like a jack-o-lantern.
