Location: Kenosha, city park setting and along Lake Michigan
Monarchs was seen along the lakefront on thistle flowers and also laying eggs on milkweed. The Question Mark and Mourning Cloak I saw were both in poor condition with tattered wings. We saw a great deal of dragonflies, many just emerged and one with the casing still attached to the wing. Large amount of Twelve-Spotted Skimmers, Blue Dashers and Green Darners along a creek in the park. I rarely see the Halloween Pennants in that locations but counted 6 of them.
