Location: Olbrich Botanical Gardens in Madison
Just a quick visit to Olbrich Gardens this morning, as it was such a hot and humid day. My husband and I had counted around 15 Monarchs on various flowers throughout the gardens, when we came upon a tree covered with white flowers. We stood in amazement watching dozens of Monarchs flying from flower to flower on the tree, sipping nectar. After counting about 30 Monarchs we had to give up, as there were just too many to count. Definitely the most monarchs we have ever seen in one place. How fun!
