Location: Cherokee Marsh in Madison
This was an annual field trip of the Southern Wis Butterfly Association. 28 butterfly watchers participated. We found 10 species which was the lowest number in the 9 years we have data! Presumably cold winter and cool spring is the cause. Hackberry Emperor landed on various people which is always enjoyable! Great Spangled Fritillary was absent indicating they are running late this year. Dorothy Legler took the photos.
