Location: Atwood Community Gardens and Prairie Garden, Madisons
14:21 - 15:44, 1.68 miles, 70 - 68 F, N wind 15 mph, partly cloudy. The tiger swallowtail was a black female, not surprising given the pipevine swallowtails at nearby Olbrich Gardens.
When the Monarchs are migrating through this area, the numbers have been much higher. I wanted to get a baseline count before they started migration.
