From 8:58 - 11:46 temperatures rose from 61 to 71 F. Paths covered 2.0 miles, mostly north of the lake. While I was in the woods, there was protection from the wind but quite a few spider webs. I rescued one Monarch and one dragonfly from webs. One of the Clouded Sulphurs south of the lake was a white female. Most of the other Clouded Sulphur hindwing undersides were green. Cabbage Whites were laying eggs on garlic mustard in the woods. During my time in the prairie south of the lake. the wind was gusting about 15 mph preventing many species from flying freely.
