Location: Stanton Creek Rd, Black River Forest
Very sunny 67-72 F. Absolutely the most individual numbers of butterflies I have ever seen. I saw 5 pools of puddling Canadian Tiger Swallowtails but at times they were like gulls at a dump. Vast numbers of Duskywings went unidentified. No butterflies at the Lupine almost all were on the damp ground. Deer Flies are out in force.
