Location: Fish Lake State Wildlife Area
Common Ringlets were on roadside of Co. Rd. O. Drove north on Stolte Road, found several flighty "blues" on open roadside with lupine. Two were positively ID'd as Karners. Dusted Skippers were seen nectaring at puccoon or resting on vegetation.
The Canadian Swallowtails were on the damp sand at the edge of the St. Croix River at Raspberry Landing.
Weather was overcast, mid-70s.
