Location: Mush-ko-se-day Park, Fort Atkinson
Clear sky, 82 deg., calm. This is a quiet, 52 acre park at the south edge of Fort Atkinson. It has a wide variety of habitat - woods, two ponds, planted prairies, and an oak savanna that is being restored. Four Hackberry Emperors greeted us in the gravel parking lot and one hitched a ride on the trail. A very good day for dragonflies too - our first Halloween Pennants of the year.
