Location: Lasley Point Archeological Site
Winnebago County
A site that I use for birdwatching in the spring, turned out to be great for insects. Besides the butterflies noted, I saw two hairstreaks up in the top of the oaks, eight clear winged sphinx moths, six different species of bumblebees and I am 95% sure that I saw a Cloudless Sulfur. Well acquainted with this species from my years in TN. It could have been one of the other larger exotic (for WI) sulfurs.
