Location: Cedarburg Bog
The hike started out with the least amount of butterflies I have seen since early April. The deer flies and mosquitoes were atrocious. Over a twenty minute sunny period, many critters came out to fly. The most humming bird moths I have ever seen plus one Snowberry Clearwing.
There were many grasshoppers like in the photos. I have never seen this before. A parasitic wasp?
I also saw a pair of Cedar Waxwings.
