Fond du Lac County

A great day of butterflying, but not a lot of them landing for pictures. When I decided that the Black Swallowtails seemed to be coming in waves, I waited in the shade of a tree, overlooking the field. After a few minutes, four Eastern Tiger Swallowtails, two Black Swallowtails, and a common Wood Nymph, appeared at the same time. The Mourning Cloaks, and the Scorpion Fly, were along the trails of the wooded area.
