Butterfly sighting

Location: Estabrook Park
Milwaukee County

I was surprised by the number of butterflies since although it was bright and sunny with many flowers blooming early, it was not warm, only 46F with a cold wind off the lake. Lots of white Trout Lilies blooming and found the biggest most beautiful patch of Bloodroot that I've ever seen in Milwaukee County in the most unexpected place, right on the embankment of the old railroad (now bike path) growing under a mess of invasive Oriental Honeysuckle. I saw a number of orange-colored butterflies which did not alight and I didn't get a look at. I was surprised to see both an Am Lady and a Painted Lady on the same day; don't think that has happened to me before.
