Location: Summerton Bog SNA
72 Degrees and Sunny. 2-5 PM. Watched a Mustard White and SS Azure laying eggs. Autumn Olives were in bloom and loaded with butterflies. At times it felt like I was in a butterfly house, because there were so many BFs around me. At one point I had 2 pair of MCs fighting for 40' of sunlit trail. So cool!! A little farther down the trail a Hobomok was sitting in the grass. Pearl Crescents were mating. Saw some really dark Ladies. Closer look showed they were painted!!! Whew!!! Gotta catch my breath. And then the dragonflies . . .
