I walked the upper meadows this morning. Wednesday, I only walked the area near Lake Michigan. It is interesting to see how different the butterflies are in the 2 areas. Southward bird migration is already starting: saw a couple of different Warbler species which nest north of here in the summer. I was also entertained by a newly fledged Robin who posed for me while his nearby parent chided me for coming so close.
