Warm clear day. The site is great for butterflies right now with nearly 1000 rough blazingstars in full bloom. The sheer number of blazingstars coupled with the large number of sachems made it difficult to search for Leonard's skipper. I did get some rusty orange skippers but they were Fiery skippers. Interesting that Aaron Carlson picked up so few butterflies just a week and one half ago. How quickly things can change!!
