Finally! I have been looking for Common Ringlet for about 10 years in Waushara County and hadn't found it until today. This species has been spreading south into WI slowly over the last 50 years. It was made worse when I found the first one in Marquette Co. at Comstock Bog while leading a field trip there in 2009! Found while doing surveys for the Wisconsin Breeding Bird Atlas. Also several tiger swallowtail sp. |
