Walking the school woods to our pond with one of my STEAM classes. We found a Monarch on the path, unable to fly. It was below 50 degrees. Brought it inside (after about a minute it started flying around the cafeteria). Offered her some freshly picked wildflowers from our prairie and fed her hummingbird food too. Going to release her today (it's right at 50 degrees-- hoping it can fly off!). |
