Saw three Mourning Cloak butterflies flying in the area and one sunning itself on an old log. Sunny, 70 degree afternoon. |

Spotted both the Eastern Comma and the Mourning Cloak in a stand of old pines. They enjoyed sunning themselves on the forest floor in the brightest spots. It was sunny and in the mid 60s today and there's still a bit of snow in some sheltered spots. |
